Fleet Foxes singer Robin Pecknold has made a rare contribution to the argument in defence of illegal downloading. The singer and guitarist argued that music should have no inherent cash value, before going on to insinuate that musicians have no need for the large amounts of money earned through record sales.

Incubus have confirmed the tracklisting for their upcoming seventh studio album, ‘If Not Now, When?’, giving a lengthy statement about the tone and intent of the record. The band have been working on the follow-up to 2006’s acclaimed release, ‘Light Grenade’, and have described the new album as “Something unique, both to the world and to us as a band”

Lady Gaga has called in Queen guitarist Brian May to work on her latest album, it has been reported. According to The Mirror, the eccentric pop star has worked with May on a track called ‘You & I’, which is set to appear on her upcoming LP ‘Born This Way’.

Munich have announced that they are to head out on a UK tour around the release of their debut single 'All Sussed Out' on the 20th June. Having not long completed their first UK tour they are certainly not a band to let the dust settle. The dates are being finalised as we speak but we can tell you that they'll be making an appearance at a number of festivals, kicking off with The Great Escape on the 12th May.
